Although I chose the Metropolitan Boutique Hotel to stay for a 3 night stay in Krakow, very much by reading other reviews, however having recently booked out after a great stay in the City I wanted to write my own review. From the point of arriving until I left my wife and I received excellent customer service from every member of the staff we spoke to. Indeed it was a great start as the reception offered us a free room upgrade, which was very much appreciated and having eaten an excellent meal in the restaurant on the first night, we decided to dine at the hotel every night as we could not fault the food (Clearly a great Chef) coupled with a guest discount / attentive smiling staff and a happy hour no doubt helped this decision. What perhaps is not so widely advertised and was another factor in choosing this hotel is its position is within a very short walk from what I understand is a relatively new railway station called Grzegorzki that has regular direct trains to and from the airport, (20 minute journey) for a return fair of just £7. This is considerably less than any other form of advertised airport transfer in new trains with no delays due to the traffic in the city.

Lovely well positioned hotel which provided excellent service. The hotel is very comfortable, rooms were great and the restaurant excellent. Reception staff are very helpful with transport, trip advice and general support for our stay. We ate breakfast each day which was a perfect start for our busy days. We ate one evening meal in the restaurant and this too was excellent value and great quality. A small supermarket is directly facing the hotel which was helpful. We used the bar each evening and enjoyed the 40% discount period. The hotel is modern and very tasteful in its furniture and general decor. It’s situated in the Jewish quarter with many bars and eating places minutes away. The main town square and Wawel castle are both 15 minutes walk. There were 6 of us staying at the hotel and all agreed on the all round quality we received.First class.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices & included lattes made by a "real" Italian Expresso machine. Great food at the attached (independent restaurant) with attractive discount in the restaurant for guests of the hotel & discounted drinks for Happy Hour. Comfortable bed & pillows. Temperature of the room was great, heater could be adjusted & the windows opened (this is important in Europe in the winter when most hotel rooms are way too hot even with the hot water rads completely turned off. Shower had great water pressure & the towels were fluffy. Location is great - walkable distance to the Old Jewish quarter with restaurants & bars and ~10 minute walk to the market square (Cloth Hall & Xmas Markets)

Beautiful hotel! Friendly welcome. We found the hotel spotless clean. Warm comfortable decor. Fab fusion restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had lovely breakfasts and an evening meal. Also, Happy Hour! Great Location. Walking distance from the old town and supermarket right across the street Excellent tour company the hotel uses. Kracowdirect. Used for Zakopane thermal bath and kracow salt mine tours. Should have used them for our Auschwitz tour. Highly recommend booking tours in advance. To top our last day off, there was a Banksy Museum right next door from the hotel, recommended by the hotel front desk staff. Very enjoyable Museum! One of the best hotel stays!

The staff were amazing specially the lady who checked us in and the gentlemen who checked us out. Had dinner on the first night and it was tasty and the dessert was just yum. They had many breakfast options and the breakfast staff were always happy to go out there way to help with special requests. They helped us with airport pick up the driver was there on time and dressed appropriately. (no jeans and T-shirt) car was clean as well. Gabriella who I assume works on the reservations was quick to respond to requests and was always finding ways to help. Room was very clean. Next time I am in the area shall surely be staying here and have already recommended to others.
